Instructions

  1. Heat the Oven: Heat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.

  2. Make the Marinade: In a bowl, mix the honey, olive oil, hot sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper.

  3. Coat the Chicken: Place the chicken in the baking dish and coat it thoroughly with the marinade.

  4. Bake: Bake for 22–28 minutes. You want the internal temperature to reach 165°F (74°C).

  5. Broil: Top the chicken with the crumbled feta. Broil for 2–3 minutes until the cheese is lightly golden.

  6. Serve: Garnish with chopped parsley. Spoon the sauce from the pan over each piece before serving.

Tips for Success

  • Adjust the Heat: If you want it spicier, add extra hot sauce or chili flakes.
  • Meat Options: Chicken thighs work well if you prefer a juicier cut.
  • Texture: Save a little fresh feta to sprinkle on after baking for a texture contrast with the melted cheese.
  • Prep Ahead: You can marinate the chicken for up to 24 hours to deepen the flavor.
